Spark gap tesla coil
Powefull discharges is possible when using large tesla coils.
Daniel Ekman in Umeå made this delicate device. Even though
it looks dangerous the current is still not so large. The grey
tube is the secondary coil and the donut shaped unit on top is
acting as a capacitor against the surrounded grounded enviroment.
It works by having two LC-circuits with almost the same resonant
frequecy.
