prototyping of optical integrator
To beable to produce a flat field of light and improve the
etendue of an optical projection system, an rod integrator is
needed. The projection from the flat end of a
PMMA bar is fitted to the projection area. The bar also preserve
the polarisation from the light source.
A polishing tool is used to be able to grind and polish the surface flat.
Work on this device is done at the Ralon laboratory at the science Park in Jönköping.
